~It'S OvEr!!!~

Block 3 is over!!! O-V-E-R,OVER!!! Yes!!! Don't know why, this block seems like super exhausting, especially the examinations, feel so stress, just like sitting for University Examination! Now, I'm so glad it's over. Although I know there are still more challenging exams lining up for me after this...

Nothing much to blog about actually, just how relieved I am after I finish my Pharmac practical paper this afternoon and one funny incident that happened to me during the Pharmac pract exam...

I think not many of you will understand this story, well, I'll try my best. Okay now, you know right, pharmac practical got 10 stations, 2 of them are clinical skills. My 8th station is to perform intramuscular injection, which is like so easy right? Maybe due to the torturing effect of the questions in the previous stations, I appeared a little bit blur when performing the skill. You know how the mennequin looks like right? One side of the buttocks don't have skin one (got a piece of red plastic gluteus maximus inside), and another side is the 'normal' buttock with skin where we should perform the IM injection. Now, here's the story:

Me: First, I take the consent, explain the procedure and reassure the patient.

Dr. Yeshwanth: *nod nod*

Me: Then I wash my hands, dry them and wear gloves.

Dr. Yeshwanth: *nod nod nod*

Me: Now I select the site of injection which is the upper outer quadrant of the gluteus maximus to avoid injury to sciatic nerve.

Dr. Yeshwanth: *nod nod nod nod*

Me: After that I disinfect the skin. *Pour alcohol on cotton and rub on the buttocks*

Dr. Yeshwanth: *Eyes widened* Wait!

Me: *Eyes more widened*

Dr. Yeshwanth: You shouldn't disinfect this side, no?

Me: *Blur*

Dr. Yeshwanth: You should disinfect the skin on the other side, not on the muscle.

Me: *GASP!!!* OOOPSSS!!! I'm sorry sir, I'm so sorry... Ya ya, I disinfect this side...

Then the disastrous practical exam continued...

Oh my god, I can't believe I made such a huge mistake!! I was really thinking of injecting on that red-plastic looking muscle!! *Mental slap on the face* So stupid right?? Haih...

每次听到 “树欲静而风不止，子欲养而亲不在” 这句话，心里都很寒，喉咙都卡住了。我真的很希望以后能够好好的孝顺老人家您，因为我知道我已经浪费太多时间与您吵嘴了。就像富耀所说的那样，您一直以来受的苦真的太多了，您为这头家、为我们三个付出的一切实在太多了。妈，虽然我们都没说出口，其实我们都很感激您为我们的牺牲。答应您，以后我一定会尽我所能，好好的照顾您，让您有好日子过，不会再让您受苦了！所以，您也要好好照顾自己的身体哦！等我毕业后，赚钱给您花！我爱您，妈妈！
