~LaNg TeNgAh~

Get ready people, this is going to be another long holiday trip post! Hehe!

First of all, let me make a short introduction of Lang Tengah Island. It's an island located in between Redang Island and Perhentian Island.

As you can see, it's a very small island. It's a quiet, peaceful and less commercialised compare to Redang and Perhentian. It was so quiet that in fact Fu Yew and I were the only 2 customers the resort had during our 3 days 2 nights stay at Lang Tengah. And of course, we got the hotel room with the best view! Haha!

All we did during our stays were scuba diving, sleeping, eating (buffet specially for both of us! Haha!), chatting with the diving instructors and of course, cam whoring! Actually, there were other activities like canoeing, jungle trekking etc. But we were so exhausted everytime after scuba diving, so we decided to just chill out for most of the time. Hee.

It's that time again, pictures speak better than words, so just let the photos lead us as I tell my story.
We took a bus from Seremban to Kuala Terengganu.

It was a tiring journey. We departed at 8.30pm from Seremban and reach Kuala Terengganu at 7am the next day. Travelled by plane was faster and not so tiring.
Then, Pak Mansor from the resort drove us from the bus station to Merang Jetty, where we took the speedboat to the island. The journey took around 45 minutes.

After a tiring overnight journey on the bus, a good rest was all we needed to recharge ourselves before we dived into the water.

Since we got our licenses last year, we didn't go for any dive trips. So, the dive instructor arranged a shore dive for us to get familiar with scuba diving again. I was quite nervous at first, and found it hard to equalize my ears. But luckily, things went quite well after that. We enjoyed our first dive. But I was still struggling to get a hold on my buoyancy control. *sweat*

The next day, we woke up early in the morning and had our buffet breakfast. We did some camwhoring after our breakfast while waiting for our first boat dive around the island.
Lang Sari Resort. The accommodation and food were OK for me, as I didn't have high expectations.

Hand in hand, we had a walk on the beach. Only both of us on the beach. It felt like we were walking on our own private beach. I couldn't ask for more. :)

Dive center of Lang Sari Resort - Scuba Amigo, ran by William, Uncle Sam and their helper - Wan. Those diving gears hanging on the left side of the photo were borrowed from Fu Yew's uncle. I'm really grateful for his help as it save us a lot of money from renting the gears. Thank you uncle! ^.^

Off we go for our first boat dive! Yeay!

I think he looked quite man in a diving suit. Hehe.

Hello from under the sea! Hee.

There were incredibly lots of fish around the island.

Two big bat fish. I named the bigger one Fu Yew, the smaller one Esther. Keke.

Pipe fish. Very small in size, about the length of my little finger.

Unlike in Redang Island, this time we concentrated more on smaller organisms. It was amazing to discover all these small aquatic creatures.
We were supposed to have 3 boat dives on the 2nd day, but due to low tide, the boat was stucked on the shore and we had to postpone our last dive to the next day. Since we were already in our suits, we decided to do some snorkeling. The tide was extremely low, some soft corals were even visible when we walked on the shore. We found Nemo's family.

We just sat on the rock beside the coral and enjoy the beauty of it. There were papa Nemo, mama Nemo and little baby Nemo, a family of three, how cute! Then we took a swim at the deeper area, it was really fun.

During our last dive, when we descent, there were a big school of barracuda surrounding us. It was awesome!!!

When we were busy looking for interesting aquatic animals, suddenly I saw a fish swimming beside me, and it was getting nearer and nearer. I was scared, I quickly swam towards Fu Yew, holding his hand. Fu Yew managed to snap a picture of the fish.

It do look scary right? The teeth were so threatening. Haha.

The diving experience was fun but the visibility was not that good. According to William the visibility was better 2 weeks back. We wanted to see a turtle, but our luck were not that good. Haih... Nevermind, I know we'll have the chance in the future. ^.^

Thank you Wan for taking picture of both of us diving. It was a special moment. Hee.

Introducing our dive instructors. Uncle Sam.

William and Wan.

They were very funny and friendly. They made our experience more memorable. Thank you guys!

After that, we headed back to the mainland, rent a hotel room to wait for our bus which departed at night. We had our meals at the China Town, as most of the restaurants (even KFC and Pizza Hut) were closed due to the bulan puasa.

Overall, I enjoyed the trip a lot. I wish to have more of similar trips in the future. Spending my holiday time with my dear is the best enjoyment in life! Hee.
