~SwImMiNg - DiViNg~

One of the biggest achievement in my life is ---> I've learnt how to swim today!!!

It all started when FuYew read nicolekiss.blogspot.com. One of the post shows that Nicole went to Sipadan to get her open water diving license. The place is superb and it's definitely a diving heaven for the divers! Okay, back to the point. It has been Fu Yew's dream to get an open water diving license since god knows when. Reading that blog make his heart burning with desire to get the license as soon as possible! And he wishes that I'll take this license together with him.

Now, my part of the story. Since my eldest brother - Benjamin is a diver himself and he always tells me about his magnificient diving trips everytime after he came back, I am kind of attracted to this sport also (it's a watersport I assume? Isn't it? Hee...). But what's keeping me from taking the license till now? There are 2 major problems...
1) I'm totally lack of Vitamin M to take the license, it will cost me around RM1000++.
2) I don't know how to SWIM!!!

You may wonder, diving is underwater one ma, why need to know how to swim ler? You tell me about that. But it's one of the test we have to pass in order to get the license (according to Fu Yew's research), we have to swim for 200m. *sweat*. Fu Yew is so semangat and really want to fulfill his dream this time! He also want to take this license together with me! Me too, I also wish that we can take the license together, so that there's one more activity we can do during our dates! Lol!

The next day we went to Valley View Hotel's swimming pool. It was very difficult at first, I kept on drinking the pool water and my nose is filled with the chlorinated water! Arghh... I just can't held my head up to breath when I swim! It's like my body parts won't synchronise with each other! If i kick harder then I can't held my head up; if I held up my head then I'll sink! Huhu... I was so envious when looking at Kit Sze, she can swim so naturally and relaxing! All those failures were really challenging Fu Yew's and my patience! Luckily he didn't give up on me, step by step, he teaches me how to breath, then how my hand should move, how I'm going to kick my leg and keep my balance etc... After numerous attempts, at last, I can swim on my own!!! You can't believe how happy I was at that time! I think my tutor was happier than me, right? But there are still a lot of room for improvements, I still can't really swim very far and sometimes I still panic and lost my breath. I will practice more after this! Heeeee... Swimming, I'm conquering you very soon!! Muahahaha!

As for the no. 1 problem, I will try my best to save as much Indian Rupees as possible! Don't worry k my dear, I won't let you down! Heee...

So, I would like to take this chance to say:"Thank you sooooo much my dear for your patience and teaching me how to swim! In fact, you are the first one who success in doing this! Heeee! You are great! Let's fulfill this dream together!!" ^.^

p/s: Hey bro, my no.1 prob, you can help me to solve it, right? Kekeke...

Thank god my 2nd block results didn't drop! Got 3D summore!!! Not dat i wanna boast or wat, just dat am really happy, this is the first time i got all 3D! heee... New dissection table, with unfamiliar cadaver n new dissection mates... Yeah, i got into the so called "prosectors table"... Dunno whether is lucky or unlucky... But wut i'm sure is more pressure drops on me after dat! Huhu... But still, it hasn't wake up the hardworking senses inside me, still laze around as usual... Lol...

So far classes are ok... The only thing dat make me not ok now is dat i'm missing my boyfriend sooooo damn much!! Huhu... FuYew has went back to M'sia for his sem holiday last Friday... Miss him more each day since the day he left India... There won't be enough of messages or calls or skype hours to compensate my feelings... Miss being at his side... Some people say, sometimes separate (in the sense of distance) for a while is good for a couple... Yeah, maybe... Cause i really realise how much i miss him when he's not by my side, i should appreciate each and every moment together wif him, cause every second is precious! Now he only goes bec for 19 days, how will i survive when he goes bec to Malacca to further his studies?? At that time, we will oni meet each other once every half year! Huhu... So, from now on, I will spend each second together with him to the fullest!!! I love you so much, my dear! Waiting for you to come back oh! ^.^

~KeRaLa TrIp (24th - 29th Feb 2008)~

Fu Yew and I went to Kerala after he finished his University Examination on 24th February. We had planned this for quite some time, looking forward to this trip eagerly, cos both of us nvr been to Kerala before, n this time will be kinda like backpack holiday! Heee...

Hurmmm... Before I proceed further, it's better i give you all a short background info about Kerala. Kerala is one of the state in India, like Karnataka. It's situated at the southwest part of India. Places we visited in Kerala are Fort Cochin, Ernakulum, Allepey and Vypeen Island.

The night we started our journey... (24.02.08)
First time carrying a backpack, extra excited! Hahaha...

11 hours of train journey (Udupi-Ernakulum Junction)... A/c compartment... But still, very tiring... huhu...

2nd day - Fort Cochin (25.02.08)
We reach Ernakulum at 10 smth in the morning. Then we have to take a ferry from Ernakulum to Fort Cochin.

Main Jetty at Ernakulum. Ticket per person oni Rs2.5.

YewYew n me on board! Heeee... He was very tired that day, accumulated tiredness, kesian...

New hat for me... The weather was very hot...

Chinese fishing net, one of the must-see in Fort Cochin.

A very nice n windy place to rest, they sell fresh fruit juices here. We saw dolphin while relaxing under the shade. The feeling is great! Heee...

Fort Cochin was previously colonised by British - Portuguese - Dutch, hence there are a lot of churches here, most of the people here are christians too. This is Santa Cruz Basilica Church, one of the most beautiful we've saw.

This is my first leather bag, and it only cost me Rs150... Haha...

Kathakali, story play in Indian language. |||-_-

Kathakali, it almost like our Chinese Opera, just dat, i dun understand a single word they are singing... lol... To me, the make up is quite scary though... Sorry to say, din really enjoy the show. Heee...

Candlelight dinner after the show, this is my first ever candlelight dinner, the ambience quite romantic though, just dat both of us are a bit tired from the day's trip and Kathakali show...

Keralan Food, it taste superb! Their main attraction are seafood, and they like to cook their food wif coconut. At first i was quite reluctant to taste, but to my surprise, i fell in love with Keralan food after the first bite! It's D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!

Edelwiss Homestay, we stayed here for the night, it only cost us Rs500. But the experience was scary! Huhu... Fu Yew heard some noises in the middle of the night, when he opened his eyes, he saw a head outside the window beside me! Fu Yew was shocked, when he sat up, the head dissapears. I was awake dy dat time, Fu Yew went near to the window and saw a silhoutte jump down from our window (our room is at 1st floor)Was it a human? Or it's a ghost?? The whole nite we can't sleep... Switch on the light n stare at the ceiling... The next morning, when we checked the windows, there were a pair of finger prints there... so, it was a human? hope so...

3rd day - Allepey (26.02.08)
After we left the scary homestay early in the morning, we took ferry back to Ernakulum to take a bus from the bus station to Allepey. The journey took us around 1.5 hours. Allepey's main attraction is it's backwaters and of course HOUSEBOATS!!! After getting sum helps from the tourist information centre, we set our foot on our very own houseboat!! the whole tour cost us Rs5000, but we both think that it worth each n every rupees. The houseboat comes with one AC bedroom, kitchen, 1 captain, 1 cook, and our 3 meals are included into the package!

YewYew enjoying the environment... Gud for our soul after a scary nite! Haha...

It's so relaxing... With the soft winds hitting on ur face, greenish environment, unpoluted air... Ahhhh... Feel like reborn! Haha...

This is our captain, George, a friendly man with great fishing skill!

Kerala backwaters... Must not missed it!

Fresh tiger prawns! 1kg Rs900... We bought half kg from the shop at the bank. Yum Yum! heee...

Drifting tru the village area, only small houseboats like ours can enter.

Thx dear for bringing me to this superb trip! Luv u!

Fishing in the evening. George park our boat by the bank.

This is the 10th fish George got i think... But YewYew n me still 0... Huhu...

Fishing on the boat, watching sunset together... No words can describe our feelings!

This is our dinner, cooked by our cook Baboo... See the tiger prawns there? All the dishes tasted superb!! Although a bit spicy... Yum yum!! Heee...

4th & 5th day - Ernakulum
After checking out from the houseboat, we took a bus back to Ernakulum. We were kinda sad to leave the houseboat... When we reach Ernakulum, checked in hotel, then we found that there's nth much to do in Ernakulum... The only thing we did dat day is Ayurvedic Massage... But sadly, i din have the chance to enjoy it, cos they are lacked of female massager... Haih... Lucky YewYew, but he smelled oily after dat! ahahaha! He said it was really very comfortable n feel more relaxing after the massage.

The next day, we went to Vypeen Island. According to Lonely Planet (our 'bible' throughout the whole trip), there is an undeveloped, long stretched of white beach there, called Cherai Beach. We took ferry, then 30 min of auto ride to reach there (we were charged Rs500-to n fro). Nothing much there, but the view is really nice.

It's freaking hot... Cos we reach there at noon! huhu...

Guess which one is YewYew's leg? Lol... (Esther Leow loves Fu Yew)

At night, we had another authentic Keralan dinner at Frys Village Restaurant... Another good meal for sure! Heee... After that, we went to Ernakulum Junction train station, wait to board our train back to Udupi...

That's all about our Kerala Trip, I really do enjoy the trip! Although it's a bit tiring, but it's all worth it! Thx dear for everything! ^.^
