One of the biggest achievement in my life is ---> I've learnt how to swim today!!!
It all started when FuYew read nicolekiss.blogspot.com. One of the post shows that Nicole went to Sipadan to get her open water diving license. The place is superb and it's definitely a diving heaven for the divers! Okay, back to the point. It has been Fu Yew's dream to get an open water diving license since god knows when. Reading that blog make his heart burning with desire to get the license as soon as possible! And he wishes that I'll take this license together with him.
Now, my part of the story. Since my eldest brother - Benjamin is a diver himself and he always tells me about his magnificient diving trips everytime after he came back, I am kind of attracted to this sport also (it's a watersport I assume? Isn't it? Hee...). But what's keeping me from taking the license till now? There are 2 major problems...
1) I'm totally lack of Vitamin M to take the license, it will cost me around RM1000++.
2) I don't know how to SWIM!!!
You may wonder, diving is underwater one ma, why need to know how to swim ler? You tell me about that. But it's one of the test we have to pass in order to get the license (according to Fu Yew's research), we have to swim for 200m. *sweat*. Fu Yew is so semangat and really want to fulfill his dream this time! He also want to take this license together with me! Me too, I also wish that we can take the license together, so that there's one more activity we can do during our dates! Lol!
The next day we went to Valley View Hotel's swimming pool. It was very difficult at first, I kept on drinking the pool water and my nose is filled with the chlorinated water! Arghh... I just can't held my head up to breath when I swim! It's like my body parts won't synchronise with each other! If i kick harder then I can't held my head up; if I held up my head then I'll sink! Huhu... I was so envious when looking at Kit Sze, she can swim so naturally and relaxing! All those failures were really challenging Fu Yew's and my patience! Luckily he didn't give up on me, step by step, he teaches me how to breath, then how my hand should move, how I'm going to kick my leg and keep my balance etc... After numerous attempts, at last, I can swim on my own!!! You can't believe how happy I was at that time! I think my tutor was happier than me, right? But there are still a lot of room for improvements, I still can't really swim very far and sometimes I still panic and lost my breath. I will practice more after this! Heeeee... Swimming, I'm conquering you very soon!! Muahahaha!
As for the no. 1 problem, I will try my best to save as much Indian Rupees as possible! Don't worry k my dear, I won't let you down! Heee...
So, I would like to take this chance to say:"Thank you sooooo much my dear for your patience and teaching me how to swim! In fact, you are the first one who success in doing this! Heeee! You are great! Let's fulfill this dream together!!" ^.^
p/s: Hey bro, my no.1 prob, you can help me to solve it, right? Kekeke...
