~ThE ReTuRn Of Me~

This blog is a bit out of date, but I still feel that I should make an entry of me leaving India for good!

On 12th February 2010, right after finishing our Comprehensive Examination, we packed our stuff and begin the journey back home.

Everything started off well. Minn Yin, Saou Saou and me took a taxi from Manipal to Mangalore Airport. From there, we boarded Kingfisher Airlines and flew to Bangalore. We "camped" at Bangalore International Airport for 6 hours to wait for THE flight of the day that will fly us back to our home.

That's when the disaster happened. Very unfortunately, MAS charged me for extra baggage weight. It was a long story, to make it short, I've to pay for almost RM300 in order to bring everything back to Malaysia. T.T

We're going back to Penang!! Haha!!

In the end, we reached home safely on the day of reunion dinner!!! Yeay!! :)

~CoUnTdOwNiNg~

Semester 5 is really a honeymoon semester!! Time has past real fast this semester. Everyday is about posting, TVB dramas, Taiwanese dramas, Korean dramas and Japanese dramas!! Haha! In fact, I just finished another drama - Buzzer Beat!

It was awesome!! Made my heart beats irregularly all the time! Lol! Three words to summarized this drama - BASKETBALL, MUSIC & ROMANCE. It's a bit typical though, but still, these kind of dramas never fail to make my heart melts! Haha! I found that the clips showed in the opening song is more breathtaking and exciting than what was showed in the drama itself. Haha.
Introducing the main actor...

Yamashita Tomohisa as Kamiya Naoki. He's such a sweetheart, right? Haha!

I give this drama a rating of 9/10!

=================================================================

On the side note, I'm going to leave Manipal for good very soon!! Before going back, there are a lot of things that I have to settle first. Packing the boxes is one of my main agenda now. I MUST finish packing all the boxes by the end of next week!! Deep inside, I still feel a little bit sad of leaving this place. In fact, this is the place that mark the beginning of my transformation into a future doctor, this is the place that I can own and ride a scooter, this is a place where I can simply get everything by delivery, this is a place where I met the love of my life. I'm so glad that our 1.5 year separation is going to end soon!!! I just can't hold the excitement inside my chest anymore!! I'M COMING BACK, DEAR!!!!!! Hehe! I've got just one thing to say at the end of the day.

:)

p/s: 21 days and countdowning...

~2010~

Happy New Year everyone!!! It's the second day of another brand new year. Before making my new year resolutions, I would like to recall the resolutions I've made last year and see whether I've kept my words.

Let's have a look of what resolutions I had last year...

~WeLcOmE 2009!!~
It's 2009! And this year, my new year resolutions are:

1. Treat Fu Yew better (by reducing my lao kai frequency).
2. Gain weight! My target is 55kg (Only then my BMI will reach 20).
3. Pass 2nd year MBBS.
4. Be a filial daughter (by calling back home more often).
5. Save more money! ($.$)

Okay, that's all I can think of at this particular moment. Wish everyone out there a prosperous and happy new year!!! ^.^

1. Hurmm... I think I still can treat Fu Yew better...
2. Gain weight?? Nope... I'm only 49kg now... sob sob...
3. Yes!! I've passed my 2nd year MBBS!!!
4. Be a filial daughter? Hurmm... I haven't change much I think. I still very seldom call back home... Sorry papa mama! Huhu..
5. I think I'm still a big spender...

So, I only achieved one out of the five resolutions!!! Lesson of the year, don't make too many resolutions! Haha!

Now, here are my resolutions for the year 2010:
1. Stay happy with Fu Yew, my family and my friends!
2. Gossip lesser.
3. Make study a habit by reading constantly.

Hopefully I will make it this time! Gambateh!!! Hee.

P/S: Happy birthday to my beloved second brother, Daniel!! Although I know you never read my blog, but I still hope that you'll receive my blessings on this special day. Love ya!! Muahh!! :)

~It'S ChRiStMaS TiMe~

HoHoHo!! It was that time of the year again!! One of the festive season that almost everyone around the globe is celebrating. This was my last Christmas in India... I'm glad that I had a great time.

On Christmas Eve, I went to Christ church for a Christmas mass. I missed this year's caroling organized by our very own MMMC students. So, listening to the carols before the mass started really brighten my night. :) After the mass, I went back home, and welcome Christmas day by counting down with my fellow sweet hearts. In fact, all of us were so into the movie showing in the TV that we nearly missed the countdown. Haha. My sweet housematoes even prepared a special X'mas gift for me!! I felt so touched upon receiving the gift! Thanks girls, you all are awesome!! Muahh!! Love you girls!!! :)

Thanks to Nad, Anis and Izzati!!! I like the specially made clock and card a lot!!! :) Thanks to Lyvia, we played some crazy card games until it's nearly dawn only we went to bed. Haha.

On Christmas day itself, we had a Christmas party at Premiere Residency. There were awesome food and great people.

Lepak-ing at Lyvi and Minn Minn's place.

This was the best X'mas Cake I've ever seen!! Thanks to Miya, our very own Cakehouse owner! Haha!

But sadly, my tummy didn't feel very well that night, so I didn't have a piece of it. Sob... Sob...

Sweethearts... :)

Oh! Last but not least, we musn't forget about the "secret santa" game. Before the party, each of us has to prepare a present for the person which was assigned to us by the organiser. Guess what I got from my secret santa? Jeng jeng jeng jeng!!

Yeah! A globe!! Why my face looked like that? It doesn't mean that I don't like the present, but I found it rather funny and coincidence that, 2 years back, I also got a globe from a Christmas party!!! (I think it was from Patrick Lee at Perry's party that time). LOL!!

Say hi to your dad, little globe!

Merry Christmas everyone!! HoHoHo! :)

~UpDaTeSs~

Hello peeps! I'm back! Has been quite busy and lazy for the past 6 weeks. In fact, I've finished 2 postings after my last post – Psychiatry and Obstetrics & Gynaecology (OBG). Besides that, there were a lot of things going on at the same time. For instance, the annual Interbatch Sports Competition has started.
Basketball

Volleyball

Lyvia was absent in this photo.
A special side note to my volleyball teammates,

You guys were great!! Thanks for being part of the team and sorry if I ter-shouted at you guys k? MUAHHH!!! LOVE YOU GIRLS! :)

Being a supporter...

In between the Interbatch matches, there was Intercollege Volleyball Tournament too. *sweat*

We only manage to grab 2nd place, we lost in the final to KMC Mangalore. Although it was a bit dissapointing since it's my last intercollege, but at least we gave our best, right?

Director General of Health, Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr Ismail Merican paid us a visit too. But I didn't manage to take a photo with him, just did some camwhoring among ourselves. Haha!

We also had our Annual Day last Friday, and Legenda + Food Fest last Saturday. Why are we having all these events back to back? It's all because of the visit of the high commissioner Datuk Tan Seng Sung. ... ...

Closed up...

My Batch B sweethearts!

Housematoes + Ain + Aishah

With Minn Yin, Phei Woon & Saou Saou.

Food Fest + Legenda. So happy and excited and surprised to meet the girls!!

What's coming up next? There's a badminton match tomorrow, basketball match this Friday and the most important event of the year which falls on this Saturday!! What is it? Shhhh! Secret. I'm so looking forward to it!! ^.^

I would like to take this opportunity to say sorry to my beloved boyfriend, sorry for not being able to accompany you during some of the evenings when I had match and this and that. Please bear with me k my darling? All of these going to end soon and I'll be going back for good very very soon too! Thanks for your supports! Muahh! A kiss for my dear! Hee. Smile for me, can? :)

~ThE EXoRcISm~

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Esther. She was very cheerful and talkative.

One day, she was talking happily with her classmates...

Suddenly she stopped!

And smirked on her own...

All of a sudden, she looked up with her eyes wide opened!

And laughed so loud that she made all the people around her jumped up!

*Hezry: "Oh my god! She scares the s*** out of me!!"*

*Lau: "Oh no!! She has been possessed!!"*

All the other classmates were shocked too! But they kept their cool and quickly formed an exorcist team...

...consists of Fatin the Water, Kelvin the Fire, Ken the Earth, Praba the Wood and Josepha the Metal!

However, they are still amateurs in this field, so the exorcism was supervised by 3 Elders.

"Healing is our profession!"

With the power of the Five Elements, they successfully forced the spirit out of Esther's body.

And this was what they saw...

It was Dhamarah the naughty little spirit that has been messing around with Esther! But since the exorcists were very kind, they decided not to destroy the naughty little spirit. To show her appreciation, Dhamarah promised to be more obedient after this.

-THE END-

===========================================
Ok, I know it's a very lame story. But it's just for fun, hope you guys enjoyed it! Hee! Special thanks to all the casts and crews. Hope you guys don't mind me using your names and photos. If anyone feel offended, please do tell me, and I'm very sorry about it. Peace! ^.^

~MeDiCiNe PoSTiNg~

I'm back!!! Hee. I know I've been away from blogging for almost 1 month! Since I've finished my first posting today, so I think it's time to get back to the keyboard again.

What have happened to me after I came back from my holiday? Clinical years have started. A whole new chapter of my medic life has begun! A more challenging chapter of course.

Upon receiving my 5th semester schedule, I was excited, because I'll be spending Chinese New Year in Malaysia next year!! First day of CNY falls on 14th Feb, and my holiday commences on 13th Feb!! WoooHoooo! I'll be getting my angpow for sure this time! Wakakakakaz! (and maybe V-day with my love one too. ^.^)

Starting from our batch, they've made some minor changes in the posting schedule. 3 of the postings will be conducted in Karkala, 3 in Manipal, and during Friday and Saturday, some of the postings will be held in the Udupi Government Hospital or TMA Pai Udupi. For all those seniors that only had one posting in Karkala, LUCKY YOU!!! ENVY!!! Huhu... The super bumpy bus ride on the extremely narrow road for 40 minutes is killing me!! I fell unconscious on my bed right after I reach home from my first day of posting in Karkala. @_@ But luckily, I'm starting to get used to it. Hee.

My first posting was Medicine, in Karkala. We were proud to have Dr. Shashikiran - the fartherly one, Dr. Joydeep - the charming one, and Dr. Kushaal - the strict one, as our lecturers. They never really scolded us. Lucky us. Haha. But I guess we'll be having a real good dose of those when we're back in Melaka next semester... Don't care so much la, just enjoy whatever we have now! Hee!

I've learned a lot of things during this posting. I've even learned some basic Kannada (the local Indian language), in order to communicate with the patients. It's not easy though... We know how to ask a question, but when they answer, we were only able to shake our heads like what they usually do. *sweat* -.-|||

There are so much to tell, maybe I'll continue next time. Will upload some photos soon. ^.^

p/s: Psychiatry posting commences tomorrow!!! Aja!!
